InstallationFrom the CFI(Certified Flooring Installers) website:
"The Cheapest Price Does Not Guarantee Satisfaction"
"Yes, you will pay more for qualified installation because the majority of flooring installers are not trained and do not possess the skills to provide satisfaction and cannot solve a problem when it arises."

Ask questions of your installer:

How long have they been installing?
How familiar are they with the product you have chosen?
Where did they receive their training?
How long do they guarantee their work?
Can you get this guarantee in writing?
Is it backed by the store you purchased the product from?

You get what you pay for!

At M & P Flooring we offer more than 63 years of combined installation experience. Michael Grona has achieved a rating of A+, the highest rating in the Canadian flooring installation trade.
All our installations are done by Mike and Pat personally and by our apprentice, Stanley Barrie under their close supervision. Our reputation is for quality work, and as the owners of M & P Flooring , we can guarantee that your floor is installed by qualified and professional tradesmen.
We back up our residential installation with a 3 year warranty, IN WRITING!

Pets and Your Floor ChoicesMost pet owners will tell you that their pet is part of the family.
Most of us consider what the pet can do to damage the floor we choose but did you know that some types of flooring can be dangerous to your pets?

Hard Surfaces:   Slippery floors can cause your pet to skid and this may cause injury to your pet.
Carpets:     Some carpets can catch your pets nails and either pull out the loop of carpet, or, in some cases, even damage the nail of your pet.

When you discuss the needs of your household, remember your pets. There are products available for all types of households and lifestyles. We'll be glad to help you choose products suitable for yours. Your floors can be both beautiful and safe for all members of your family.

HardwoodWhen you choose your hardwood floor, there are many considerations to make. The grade of the wood you choose affects the price and look of the floor. If you want a floor that is free of knots and has a more uniform look, you should choose a wood that has a clear, prime or select and better rating. This will cut down on the amount of unusable wood and therefore save you money, even though the initial cost of the wood is a little higher.

There are many grades of hardwood, watch for terms such as selected , this does not mean the same as select and better. The websites of most reputable hardwood companies offer a wealth of information to the consumer. When you are informed, you have the tools to make a decision on your hardwood purchase. Ask questions - most sales professionals will be able to answer them or find the answers for you.
At M & P Flooring we believe our customers should have all the necessary information to make a well informed decision and will have a floor they will be happy with for years. We would be pleased to provide the answers to your questions.

In response to customer inquiry, we would like to address the problems of stain removal from carpets. Manufacturers have specific methods for their products and it is strongly advised that you check the warranty provided by the manufacturer for their recommendations before proceeding. Failure to do so may void your product warranty.
The list of common stains and spots is extensive. We would like to provide you with a link to the Wear-Dated Carpet Stain Removal site. Here the most common stains and their recommended removal are listed. The use of any of these methods and the consequences are solely the responsibility of the consumer. www.fabriclink.com Also check the Stainmaster Website for more stain removal advice:
